This study was done to compare the diagnostic yield by Non-aspiration technique with fine needle aspiration in thyroid lesions. A significantly higher cell yield was obtained in non-aspiration samples as compared to aspiration samples thus emphasizing the efficacy of this technique over conventional procedure especially in vascular organs like thyroid.
